Publication & Accessibility Work
Accessibility Standards: WCAG 2.2 AA/AAA | Section 508 Compliant
Adobe Acrobat full audit passed. Logical reading order verified via Acrobat Tags panel. All brand color combinations confirmed against WCAG contrast requirements using WebAIM Contrast Checker — minimum 4.5:1 ratio for normal text. Accessibility is built into the first layout decision, not added at the end.

Instructional Design
Much of my instructional design work was produced for controlled distribution: Rise 360 courses delivered directly to school districts, facilitator materials for closed leadership convenings, and compliance resources built for internal organizational use. These materials are not publicly accessible by design. If you want to see the work, I would rather walk you through it. I can speak to the design decisions, the accessibility architecture, and the outcomes in a conversation better than a link ever could. References are available on request.

WordPress Page Design & Build
Center on Inclusion Toward Rightful Presence
Designed and built a full program page for the National Center on Inclusion within an existing WordPress site. The page communicates complex educational equity content — including program purpose, partnership tiers, and implementation resources — in a clear, accessible, and visually organized layout. All design decisions were made within the existing SWIFT brand system.
Social Media Videos
Developed animated social media clips to promote podcast content and increase listener engagement. Sample shown from the series of social media animations created over four years.

Accessibility Compliance Case Study
Case Study: Accessibility Compliance Program University of Kansas SWIFT Education Center
The Brief: SWIFT needed all forward-facing materials to meet federal digital accessibility standards across a nationally distributed research initiative serving K-12 educators and policymakers.
The Challenge: No compliance program existed. Existing materials had not been audited. There were no standards, no workflow documentation, and no baseline to build from.
What I Did: Audited all existing materials for WCAG 2.2 AA/AAA and Section 508 compliance. Identified gaps in document structure, tagged content, reading order, alt text, and color contrast. Rebuilt production workflows so accessibility became a starting requirement on every project rather than a remediation step at the end. Authored a branded Accessibility Resource Guide and built a Rise 360 staff training module so the organization can maintain compliance standards independently after my departure.
The Result: Full Adobe Acrobat accessibility audit passed. Logical reading order verified via Acrobat Tags panel. All brand color combinations confirmed at a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio using WebAIM Contrast Checker. Every SWIFT publication now meets WCAG 2.2 AA/AAA and Section 508 federal standards at the point of design, not after.
