"I don't want to lose the human behind the design."
I don't want to lose the human behind the design.
I'm a graphic and instructional designer with over 10 years of experience building brands, producing campaigns, designing training materials and publications, and keeping complex projects on track from the first brief to the final file.
I don't fit neatly into one lane. Some days I'm deep in a design system, building templates and setting standards. Other days, I'm coordinating stakeholders, developing documentation, and making sure a multi-stream initiative lands on time. I've done both, often in the same week.
At the University of Kansas SWIFT Education Center, I produce the full range of materials that carry research to the people who need it: presentations, workbooks, facilitator guides, research posters, infographics, event materials, social media, short-form video, and web pages for a national audience of educators and policymakers. I also partnered with our Communications Manager to audit existing materials and establish WCAG 2.2 AA/AAA accessibility standards across everything we put in front of the world. At OneChild, donor campaigns I designed contributed to a 300% increase in non-sponsorship giving and the organization's first $1M non-sponsorship quarter.
I can start anywhere: a rough brief, an AI-generated draft, a napkin sketch, and make it polished, on-brand, and ready for every audience it needs to reach.
Accessibility is part of how I design, not a final check. A deliverable that doesn't work for everyone isn't finished.
If you need someone who thinks strategically, executes with precision, and makes the complicated feel clear, let's talk.
